BENTLEY
BREED: Husky / Lab Mix
GENDER: Male
APPROX AGE: 3 1/2 years old
SIZE: 42 lbs
HISTORY: Found homeless on the streets of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, very skinny with bones sticking through and going through garbage searching for anything to eat. His fur was black from oil due to sleeping under cars. After a bath it was a huge surprise to find out he ws snow white! Bentley was covered with ticks and fleas that caused him great grief from the bites and caused him to become quite ill. He is now very healthy and received all his vaccinations and neutered.
TEMPERAMENT: Very sweet. Loves all people. Outgoing to run and go for walks. Enjoys the company of most dogs, except fiesty fighting-type untrained dominant dogs. He can learn to get along with these too, with appropriate human leadership.

RIZA
BREED: Shepherd Mix / possible Ridgeback
GENDER: Female
APPROX AGE: 2 1/2 years old
SIZE: 40 lbs Medium/Large
HISTORY: Rizzo was a stray that was rescued from the beach in Puerto Vallarta by a tourist. About a month later another tourist rescued a male dog from the Beach whom they named Ralph. When Ralph was brought to the shelter Rizzo immediately recognized him and they were overcome with happiness. It became apparent they must have been litter-mates and been together for most of their life. They are the same age, size, similar markings, but most of all is that they knew and loved each other. They either were abandoned together at the beach and became separated or a homeless dog gave birth to them. From the moment they were re-united they became inseparable. We never want them to be separated again. Looking for a home together.
TEMPERAMENT: Very sweet, friendly, calm,well-mannered, and good with other dogs.

JESTER
BREED: Labrador Retriever/Dalmation mix
GENDER: Male
APPROX AGE: 3years old
SIZE: 65 lbs, and a curly tail
HISTORY: Jester is a dog who has been given a second chance at life when his 'time was up' and luckily pulled by volunteers from an over-crowded kill shelter. A transport team braved the winter roads to go rescue Jester and 15 other dogs who's 'time was up'. Jester is an owner surrender. The owners claimed they did not have time for a dog anymore (how can anyone do that to their pet!!) Jester is a dog who wants to please. He was very confused in the overcrowded shelter behind bars. He loves to snuggle and just wants to have a human companion. He is still very trusting and wants to please even though he was dumped by his last family.
TEMPERAMENT: When outdoors, he is lively, good-natured, playful with other dogs, very happy around kids and other dogs. Jester's quite affectionate and responded well to training - sits and runs to you for treats or affection. Jester is a one of a kind with wonderfully funny face and happy personality. His favorite activity is to run around outside showing off with a toy in his mouth or play fetch. Jester is so happy when you give him some attention and/or play with him.
