HISTORY: Mickey was given up by his family in Mexico.
TEMPERAMENT: Super playful, loving, energetic, loves everybody!

APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 4 months old

HISTORY: Found wandering in freezing conditions, no where to go, nowhere warm to sleep, no one to care.
TEMPERAMENT: Very playful, outgoing personality. Loves kids, dogs, and good with cats.
PONY
BREED: Poodle

APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 5 months old
SIZE: 15 lbs
HISTORY: Pony was rescued from the streets of Ensenada in very bad shape.
TEMPERAMENT: Pony is shy because all that he has been through, but once he gets to know you he is a sweetheart. He loves to be picked up and be petted, he is not a biter. Pony had to be shaved completely because of severely matted fur. He loves toys and his fur is growing brand new and beautiful.

APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 3 months old
SIZE: 5 lbs
HISTORY: Little Sofie was dumped in a filthy, hot barrel outside a dumping grond in Tijuana.
TEMPERAMENT: Sofie is cute, loving and such a good puppy who absolutely loves everyone.
LITTLE BEAR
BREED: Chow Mix
GENDER: Female
APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 2 months old
SIZE: 5 lbs
HISTORY: Feral chow mother, caught Little Bear before she grew up feral. Rescued from Morley in freezing temperatures traveling with her mother and another big dog. The rest of the litter no doubt did not make it, too cold for dogs, especially newborns.
TEMPERAMENT: Is very afraid of humans and just learning to interact with other dogs.
BIG JACK
BREED: Great Pyranees / Husky / Shepherd mix
GENDER: Male
APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 3 months old

HISTORY: Born to a sweet and gorgeous, homeless great pyranees that had been abandoned in far below zero weather on the Morley reserve by a breeder.
TEMPERAMENT: Cuddly, playful, very sensitive and smart.

BREED: Husky mix

APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 4 1/2 months old

HISTORY: Found along the 1A near Cochrane, Alberta. Homeless, traveling with another homeless puppy, hungry, cold.
TEMPERAMENT: Very sweet.

HISTORY: Found starving, freezing with mange and parasites with his two brothers.
TEMPERAMENT: Outgoing, bold, playful.

HISTORY: Mimi was found roaming the streets of Ensenada, scared and hungry.
TEMPERAMENT: Very affectionate, friendly and loving! She is very happy to be safe, clean, fed and having a warm spot. She wags her tail all the time.

BREED: Chow / Husky mix

HISTORY: Born homeless in Morley, hungry, lonely and cold.
TEMPERAMENT: Very sweet, little shy but coming around, submissive, gentle.
RAVEN
BREED: Husky / Chow mix

APPROX AGE (at time of rescue): 6 weeks old

HISTORY: Found scrounging for food at Chief Chiniki gas station. Born homeless in Morley near Calgary.
TEMPERAMENT: Learning to play with other dogs. Shy, will be outgoing when has had more time to socialize.

HISTORY: Rescued from an abandoned motel in Tijuana, Mexico used as a dumping ground for people.
TEMPERAMENT: Energetic and playful, very friendly and loving.

HISTORY: Found lost and starving by a First Nations member in Morley, more than likely abandoned by Calgarian.
TEMPERAMENT: Friendly, loves to be on your lap, outgoing.

HISTORY: Picked up as a stray in Los Angeles. Rescued from high-kill shelter.
TEMPERAMENT: First thing you notice are his enormous ears, they bring a smile to everyone's face. This happy-go-lucky little fella is a joy to be around. Smart, eager to please, gets along with other dogs and appears housebroken. This little dude is perfect in every way.

HISTORY: Found as a stray wandering in streets of Los Angeles. Rescued from a high kill shelter.
TEMPERAMENT: Very friendly, delightful, affectionate little guy who loves all. He is a snuggle bug who's tail is always wagging. As cute as they come. Teddy has a soft wirey coat and a darling face with expressive eyes that see straight into your soul.
