ELLIE

HISTORY: Born to a homeless mother on a Native Reserve who was found starving in a dumpster, climbed in but due to being so pregnant could not get out.
TEMPERAMENT: Sweet, very clever little girl who is independent and outgoing.
RASCAL
BREED: Shepherd / Husky mix
GENDER: Male
APPROX AGE: 7 weeks old
SIZE: Large (when full grown)
HISTORY: Born to a very pregnant starving homeless mother found in a dumpster on the Morley Reservation near Calgary.
TEMPERAMENT: Rascal is the largest of the ten puppies born. He is fluffy, cute, follows you everywhere. Adorable!
ELENA
BREED: Shepherd mix

HISTORY: Born to a homeless mother on a native reserve with siblings freezing in a cardboard box.
TEMPERAMENT: Elena is an outstanding puppy that is up for anything! Very outgoing, fast learner, leader of other dogs. Will need an adopter with leadership skills who sets rules and boundaries. Very playful, rough and tumbles with other dogs and puppies.

HISTORY: Found in a box shivering in below zero weather on Reservation in Morley. Born homeless and being cared for by a Native lady the best she could along with 5 other homeless adult dogs. Many puppies already perished due to freezing conditions on the Reserve.
TEMPERAMENT: Sweet little thing, getting well socialized at young age.
SHILOH

HISTORY: Born to a very pregnant starving homeless mother found in a dumpster on the Morley Reservation near Calgary.
TEMPERAMENT: Shiloh is so cute, has shorter fur, playful as can be.
CRISSY
BREED: Miniature Poodle
GENDER: Female
APPROX AGE: 1 year old
SIZE: 10 lbs
HISTORY: Crissy was rescued from the Mexican pound, a very scary place with zero adoptions. She scrounged the streets of Tijuana her whole life until was grabbed off the streets by the 'round-up" truck. Crissy was in heat with many dogs chasing her, she was all matted and infested with fleas and had a bladder infection. She had to be completely shaved by a professional groomer. Her hair is now growing brand new and beautiful and she is almost done with her antibiotics.
TEMPERAMENT: Crissy is a very happy, grateful and loving girl. She enjoys every second of her new life. She gets along great with other dog and children too. Crissy is not a barker and she is very playful and loves to cuddle.
BALIN
BREED: Chihuahua / Doxy mix
GENDER: Male
APPROX AGE: 5 years old
SIZE: 9 lbs
HISTORY: Balin was a stray on the streets in a pet-overpopulated area in California and ended up in the dog pound where he pulled at the volunteers heartstrings since, the overpopulated shelter doesn't keep the pets alive very long.
TEMPERAMENT: Since the shelter is so overcrowded with dogs, Balin was housed in a cage with three others, which he got along well with. He is friendly with everybody and wags his tail whenever someone stops by his cage, although, no one stopped long enough to get to know him and adopt.
RALPHIE
BREED: Spaniel mix

APPROX AGE: 2 years old
SIZE: 15 lbs
HISTORY: Ralphie was found roaming the streets of Tijuana with a severe skin condition, starving and extremely depressed with sad eyes.
TEMPERAMENT: Ralphie wants to be everybody's friend. Good with cats, dogs, great with children, a sweet boy! He is a very happy and whoever adopts him will be too. He was found in Ensenada, Mexico, lonely, scared, extremely hungry, undernourished, and with little fur due to mange. He is now happy guy and enjoys every second of his new life!
EDWARD
BREED: Chihuahua

HISTORY: Edward was left at a Los Angeles shelter where he soon won the hearts and laps of everyone he met. This little gentleman almost lost his life because there is just not enough room. Lucky for him, his rescuer had to save this wonderful love bug.
TEMPERAMENT: Edward is chubby, cuddly, canine sweetness in an adorable package. He is quiet, friendly and gets along well with other dogs. He loves people and most of all loves to cuddle. He will be a lifelong friend and loving companion.

HISTORY: Found homeless, starving, very thin with bones showing, and shivering at nightfall on nearby First Nations Reservation.
TEMPERAMENT: Oh, so very sweet. A bit shy, well socialized with other dogs, cats and people.
JET
BREED: Healer / Pitty mix

HISTORY: Found abandoned at a casino/hotel parking lot on Morley Reservation, hungry, looking for food and company. When R-mar arrived, there she was, sitting facing forward next to the entrance as if she had her bags packed! She was thrilled to hop in the car and drive away! Really good for someone wanting a second dog, a playmate.
TEMPERAMENT: A very outgoing, playful, strong girl. Loves running and tumbling with other outgoing dogs. Super affectionate. Well-mannered. Needs basic obedience training. Good with all dogs, cats and children.
BOBO 2
BREED: Husky
GENDER: Male
APPROX AGE: 1 year old
SIZE: Medium / Large
HISTORY: From a shelter in Northern Alberta that few people adopt pets out of.
TEMPERAMENT: Very sweet husky, well mannered, happy, affectionate, listens well. Great on leash, no pulling. Good with dogs and kids, don't know yet about cats. Even easy to bathe, which he badly needed!
FINLEY

HISTORY: Finley was rescued from a neglecting home in Tijuana. He lived outside on his own with no shelter and often no food.
TEMPERAMENT: Very affectionate, well socialized, outgoing, wiggly, happy-go-lucky, playful with other dogs, vivacious, kissy, sweet teeny boy. Loves kids and good with cats.
