AGE: 2 years old
HISTORY: Rescued as a puppy by Open Paws Jeddah in Saudi Arabia (a volunteer based animal rescue organization), she was observed to be the most reserved of a litter of 4. She was adopted as a pup, but later returned when the couple had their first child, two years later. OPJ has noticed that she when she was first returned she had separation anxiety and was often fearful, and believed she had experienced trauma in her adopted home. However, Bella has blossomed since being in foster care (while in Saudi Arabia) and responds well to positive reinforcement, commands and praise.
TEMPERAMENT: Bella is calm and loving and will can’t wait until she finds her forever family. She absolutely loves being around humans, but still shows some anxiety around other dogs. OPJ is not aware of any exposure she may have had to cats.
BEST MATCH: Bella would love to be with a family who will show her patience and understanding as she learns the rules and routines. She loves being active and going on walks, but mostly, she just loves getting lots of attention and scratches!
