Sheba

BREED: Lab/Heeler mix
GENDER: Female
AGE: 11 mastiff months old
SIZE/WEIGHT: Medium
HISTORY: Found starved, freezing late one night eating and licking a wrapper found next to a garbage can. She had been hit by a car in the gas station, was limping and very scared. She has since been seen by the vet and given a clean bill of health, she is no longer limping!
TEMPERAMENT: Very loving, submissive, calm and sweet as can be!
PERSONALITY: Sheba is now showing a playful side after being in a wonderful foster home where she is loved, surrounded with sweet children that she loves and loves to play and cuddle with. She walks perfect on leash and doesn’t pull. Loves all other dogs and children, is not food aggressive or dominant
Does not bark when people come to the door and will crawl to you for affection when first rescued. She is such a doll! Best personality ever personally ever! She is nit the same fearful dog as when she was rescued that freezing cold night.
PECKING ORDER: Middle to low ranking.
BEST MATCH: Someone to take Sheba to large outdoor area to run with another dog. Sheba would be good with anyone! She is still shy but playful dogs bring her out of her shell. She needs an adaptor to take out to socialize more since she she has not seen much in the world. Outdoorsy, homebodies, children, or not….condo or large ranch. She just wants someone to love and play with her and give her attention and be with people.
FAVORITE THINGS: running she loves to run through the forest and over logs and with other dogs running around and playing. Someone to play squeaky toy game with her. Dog parks, puppy play dates. When weather is better, no doubt hiking, dog parks to explore, lakes and adventures. Did we say she totally loves to run through the forest and around the trees with another dog chasing her or her chasing a dog. She’s so much fun to watch! Sheba is very athletic! She completely loves to run where the sheer heck of running around in nature and then so happy just to lay around the house. She loves comfy dog beds like all dogs:)
