Alexia Vazquez shows off puppies rescued by Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue with fellow Lawrence Grassi Middle School Grade 7 students and teacher Nancy Pollard. Vazquez chose to study animal adoption as part of her citizenship project, which focuses on social conscience and active citizenship.
