Lovely dog who is Very gentle and calm. Loves all people and will go up to everyone for pets. Loves to be outside but will happily lay down in the house.
PERSONALITY: Sandy is an incredible and smart well-rounded Shepherd. Has the bet personality of most dogs ever met. Is very endearing. Everyone that meets loves Sandy! Fun-loving, bit goofy, likes other dogs but people moreso. Fine as the only dog. A great travel companion!! Up for adventurous trips. Good with dogs, cats and as far as we know children. Hasn’t been around many though. Loves to board! Follows in your tracks when skiing!

BEST MATCH: Someone wanting adventurous dog to take boarding, skiing, outdoorsy, adventures, loves car rides!! No couch potatoes! Adopter that likes the outdoors and goes out to activities, adventures, hikes, snow trips. A family with older children or individual who will give him lots of attention and basic training. An experienced dog owner would be best. Understanding of dog psychology be good. Someone to engage his mind, not just physical activity. Sandy is very smart. We would like someone that teaches new things when out hiding, in the home, maybe Search and Rescue or Agility. Someone that wants a dog partner, not a dog to just hang around the house. Someone active with their pet dog.
FAVORITE THINGS: Being with people. Apparently, the ski hill apri-skiing! Sandy also loves boarding!! Runs in your tracks! Doesn’t run off stays right with you. LOVES being in the car and going on car journeys. Cuddles, learning, scratches, being outside. Loves to play with other dogs. Apri-skiing!
