Holly

BREED: Husky Cross
GENDER: Female
AGE: 1.5
SIZE/WEIGHT: Large
BACKGROUND: Holly came from a heartbreaking neglect situation where she was left tied up without supervision, food, or water in freezing temperatures. During this time, she became injured while trying to free herself. Thankfully, she was rescued by one of our Northern Saskatchewan rescue partners. Holly later gave birth to a singleton puppy, Nugget, whom she is deeply bonded with.
TEMPERAMENT: Sweet, gentle, loving, and calm.
ABOUT HOLLY: Holly is slowly learning to trust and blossom in a safe environment. She is an incredibly kind and gentle soul who enjoys pets, belly rubs, and staying close to Nugget wherever she goes. With patience and love, her personality continues to shine more each day.
CARE & HOME REQUIREMENTS: Holly can still be a little shy and cautious at times, so she will need a patient and understanding family to help build her confidence. She must live as an indoor family member and will thrive in a calm, stable environment. Because Holly and Nugget share such a strong bond, they are required to be adopted together.
IDEAL HOME: Holly would do best in a quiet, loving home with people who will give her the time and reassurance she deserves. She could do well with respectful older children who understand dogs. As a husky mix, she will benefit from regular exercise, enrichment activities, nose work, learning new tricks, and interactive play.
FAVORITE THINGS: Belly rubs and spending time with Nugget.
