Bridget

BREED: Shepherd mix
GENDER: Female
AGE: 2 months as of Oct. 1
SIZE/WEIGHT: 8lbs. now, medium when full grown (Bridget has big ears to grow into!). Likely will be on the small side.
HISTORY: Found homeless under a bridge on Highway 1. Her mother likely killed by car but she and her Sister Breezy were spotted. Found starved, skinny, famished, scared, dirty and thirty.
TEMPERAMENT: Calm, friendly and affectionate. Smart, sensitive. She has come far from day of rescue. Loves playing and safety of a home.
PERSONALITY: Playful, gentle, curious, bit shy. Fosters have such a soft spot for little Bridget. She truly has the sweetest personality. She is very calm and loves to be held and cuddled. Bridget loves playing with her foster sibling – a puppy of similar age. She is very respectful of our older dog and hasn’t chased our cat. Since she has been with us, she has had a steady stream of visitors, mostly our son’s friends, and has been comfortable playing with them and being passed around for cuddles. She sleeps well through the night without accidents. Often, she has to be coaxed out of bed in the morning! Once she’s up, Bridget alternates between playing, visiting and sleeping. She’s a little pumpkin!
BEST MATCH: Loving individuals or families who enjoy the outdoors, have a yard or regular access to outdoor space, and are committed to positive training and socialization. Adopter who enjoys the outdoors, have a yard or regular access to open space, and are committed to positive training and socialization.
FAVOURITE THINGS: Cuddles, pets, a cozy bed and playtime. Security, comfy bed, food.
