HISTORY: Stray for at least 2 years in First Nations community in far northern Saskatchewan. Her entire life she has had no one and searched for food by nurses in the outskirts of the community. They try to feed a dozen or more a day, which usually does not happen. She had two litters and the puppies also had no homes. Most did not survive the cold and starvation. A volunteer who helps dogs far north that don’t have a chance, most all are starving and freezing in winter. The volunteer flys up on small private plane with her own money to save some dogs. There are hundreds, and she sadly can only get a few on the plane at one time, it’s a very small plane with strict weight restrictions as well. August 16 her rescuer flew in from Saskatchewan to pick her up after being called by nurses of an untold amount of homeless dogs all going hungry and breeding.
TEMPERAMENT: Great temperament. She is loving, affectionate, wanting to be with people. She desperately wants someone to give her attention. And food prior to rescue. Magdalena has the cutest crinkly face when she smiles and happy to see you, which is usually beyond excited to get some food. Magdalena is very calm and easy going. She’s had a terrible life with no one.
PERSONALITY: Friendly, calm, loving. She will be a Very grateful dog. Rescues are the best! They suffered so much, once they have a home, they are eternally grateful and show is in their love and devotion.
