Piper

BREED: Husky mix
GENDER: 6 months old, as of Aug. 15
SIZE/WEIGHT: Likely large (but not too large) when full grown
HISTORY: Lives outside nursing station, fed by health care staff on reserve in northern Alberta. Was flown out of small remote community into Saskatoon and driven to us in Calgary.
TEMPERAMENT: Piper is really sweet. She just wants to feel loved, given food. Have a good and safe place to sleep. Thats all she asks for.
PERSONALITY: Friendly, calm, loving, wants attention from people.
PETS NEEDS/BEHAVIOURAL INFO: No special needs, very nice temperament.
BEST MATCH: An adopter to teach her about being a pet dog, not a homeless one hungry for food.
FAVORITE THINGS: Food being was starving on the reserve. Soon she will know she gets fed daily and will be more than happy to be with people, play, hike, run. Piper likes hanging out with her sister Polly, also rescued same day and flew out of N. Saskatchewan and driven from Saskatoon to Calgary.
