HISTORY: Sunny was found on a cold snowy day, malnourished, fighting over a chicken carcass in the trash. She had had to range quite far from her puppies to find food but we knew they were out there and didn’t give up the search! Six beautiful puppies were found scared and cold taking shelter in an old mattress frame among rusted metal and rotting scraps of fabric where she had clearly had to give birth. Our rescue team has photographs of her outside in -40 without food or shelter however we were unable to secure her at that time and are so relieved to have been able to save her! She deserves the absolute best life has to offer.
TEMPERAMENT: Affectionate, Happy, Mellow.
PERSONALITY: Sunny is an incredible girl and absolutely lives up to her name. Always over the moon to see you and quick to come for a cuddle, she is a playful and affectionate mother to her babies. It was a joy to see her relax in to motherhood when she realized she was safe and no longer had to scavenge for food but now she is ready to move on to her life as a beloved companion. She is excellent when meeting new people and dogs, friendly and calm in her approach. She is house trained, learning basic commands quickly and crate training is going well.
